Understand This Hidden Cost Before Choosing Lakewood Ranch – One of the biggest financial differences buyers discover when they’re moving to Florida — especially when looking at communities around Lakewood Ranch — comes down to something many people don’t fully understand at first: CDD fees.
If you’ve started researching homes in Lakewood Ranch, you’ve probably noticed that many of the villages have a Community Development District, or CDD. A CDD is essentially a financing structure that helps pay for the infrastructure that makes these master-planned communities so attractive in the first place.
