Port St. Lucie – Analysts say homes are up to 40% overvalued, with inventory stacking up.
Lee County (Fort Myers & Cape Coral) – Post-hurricane insurance spikes + inflated pricing = the steepest value drops in the state.
Polk County (Lakeland) – #1 foreclosure rate in the entire U.S. as oversupply collides with affordability issues.
So, what does this mean for buyers and sellers? Real estate is always local. While some areas are softening quickly, other markets remain strong and desirable.
